No Roteiro da semana passada vocês leram um texto e fizeram um organizador visual sobre latitude e longitude.

Complementando aquela aula, assistam ao vídeo abaixo, que traz explicações sobre esse assunto.

Maravilha!!!!! Vamos relembrar agora qual a maneira correta de interpretarmos informações sobre latitude e longitude. Observe as imagens e leia atentamente o diálogo abaixo.

A imagem acima mostra 2 construções e suas respectivas localizações: o Estádio Milton de Souza Corrêa, conhecido como "Zerão" e o monumento Marco Zero. Ambos foram escolhidos devido a uma característica geográfica importante. 

ACTIVITY 1 - Em seu caderno de inglês, responda: Qual a importância geográfica desses 2 locais apresentados na foto? (responda em Inglês).

ACTIVITY 2 - Na imagem abaixo você tem uma relação de locais conhecidos mundialmente. Copie essa lista em seu caderno.

Fazendo a leitura das dicas abaixo, identifique cada local descrito. Você deverá colocar a letra correspondente à dica, entre parênteses. (Não é necessário copiar as dicas!)

A - It was an important civilization before Colombo’s arrival.

B - It’s in the largest city of the American Continent, founded on January 25th, 1554, by Jesuits

priests.

C - In 1982, this archipelago was disputed by Argentina and the United Kingdom. The British won

the war, but nowadays the Argentinians claim its territory.

D - It is the largest library in the world. It’s near the office of the President of the United States.

E - It is the Stadium where an important soccer team plays. The colours of this soccer club are the

same as the Swedish flag.

F - It is in Macapa, capital of Amapa, a state of the North region of Brazil.

G - It’s a place created to preserve natural ecosystems and eco-tourism, and it is located in Bahia state.

H - It is a region in California that is a global center for high technology, innovation, social media

and IT (Information Technology).

I - It is a tourist attraction on the border between Canada and the USA, and it is mentioned in an

episode of the cartoon “Woody Woodpecker”.

J - It was built in Manaus, an important city near the biggest forest in the world.

K - Big lines that can only be seen if you are in an airplane or on the top of a mountain.

L - It is in the Arizona state and it has a collection of many instruments from the United States,

Mexico, India, China, Brazil and other countries.

M - It’s an artificial construction that connects the Atlantic Ocean with the Pacific Ocean.
